Attending UI11 Conference next week
Update: All notes collected in the category “UI11“.
Next week I will be in Cambridge, Massachussets attending User Interface 11 Conference.
I plan to post my notes here on the blog, but don’t expect them to be as extensive as the ones I posted from RailsConf. Maybe more like my notes from Jesse James Garret’s workshop in Copenhagen. I’ll update this post with links to my notes when available.
It was a tough dilemma to choose between the various tracks on the conference. Here is my selections:
- Monday: Bill Scott & David Malouf: Designing Powerful Web Applications using AJAX and RIAs
- Tuesday: Featured Talks Day
- Wednesday: Luke Wroblewski: Site Seeing: Communicating Successfully with Visual Design
- Thursday: Jared Spool & Josh Porter: New Perspectives in User Experience Design
It’s a hard dilemma to choose between tracks, especially at this conference. For example, I chose Luke Wroblewski over Jeff Patton’s “Bringing User-Centered Design Practices into Agile Development Projects” . Also, Rolf Molich’s sessions were already filled up, so my options were narrowed down. I saw Rolf last year at “Usability Dagene” (my notes), and he is always interesting and insightful.
Please drop me a note or comment here if you plan to attend and want to meet.
Also, I might go for some sightseeing one of the days, if time allows it. Probably Friday. I better find some time to research further what to see :)
