The quote is taken out of a context: That some companies run old software on old computers, and IT management doesn’t allow software upgrades. Because of security risks.

– Recently i had to design for an organization with only 256 colors. “IT will not let them upgrade. It’s a security risk”

Funny, I can see the security problems with seeing many colors :o)
